VNTrading is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing tools and infrastructure used by Traders and Quantitative Researchers. In this role, you will be working with others to provide cutting-edge technology solutions that improve our existing trading system. You will have an opportunity to work on high-impact projects that influence the entire organization.

Our tech stack

Most of our codebase is currently in C#, but we are moving deeper into C++ as we grow.
We run our systems in both cloud environments and physical datacenters.

Some have impressive academic credentials: graduates of Oxford and Cambridge, participants and medalists of international math and informatics olympiads, and PhDs.

What we expect from you

 

• Deep understanding of one of the following languages: C#, Rust, C++, C, Java, Golang, Assembly. If you use a feature, we expect you to understand how it works and why it exists.

• You can explain where performance comes from and why some code is faster or slower — whether for technical or algorithmic reasons.

That’s it. Those are all the requirements.

What does not matter

 

• Years of experience - mastery takes time, but we can not put a number on that.

• Type of development you did - we have hired people who have never worked on low-latency systems before.

• Knowledge of finance and trading - you will learn all you need here.

Compensation package

​

• Base salary range: €6,000-10,000 gross per month based on your qualifications, competencies and professional experience

• Year-end performance-based bonus

• Private health insurance
   

The bar of entry is high, but do not be afraid — different people have different strengths.
